I'M A MOMMY!!!

Well...just thought I'd let everyone in the blogging world know, that I am PREGNANT!!! :-)

My husband and I just found out on Thursday and, even though we're scared out of our minds, we're also very excited. It's amazing to think that, together, we have created a little life (with God's help, of course). This is our first born and know that the Lord has amazing plans for our little poppy seed right now :-)

I'm trying to get out of the habit of saying "I'm going to be a mommy" to "I AM a mommy" because, after all, it's still a life even while inside the womb. I'm already a mother. I'm already responsible for taking care of this precious life inside of me.

I'm 4 weeks along, and due March 12th (of course that means nothing) lol Just two days after my birthday, so we'll see if I'll be 25 or 26!

We're determined to have a home birth, and do everything naturally the way the Lord intended it to be. Please pray for a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy!

Oh...and for you mommies out there, any advice would be greatly appreciated! :-)

Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. I remember how elated I felt when I found I was pregnant with my first.

My advice is to enjoy this time of pregnancy with all its wonders. Take pictures of everywhere you go with him/her while in the womb.

Make a journal and record all your feelings while baby is inside of you.

Then one day when they are older - they'll have something very precious to hold on to.

Firstborns are so very special.

Congratulations! Found your blog from Women Living Well's linky party. I'm currently 34 weeks preggers with my 2nd child...so welcome to the club! It's a amazing thing to help God with a miracle!! btw, the best thing I ever did was buy The Belly Book (a journal for your pregnancy). It did wonders to help me remember things (that are important!) but I know I'd forget. Here's the link to amazon, so you can go check it out: http://www.amazon.com/Belly-Book-Nine-Month-Journal-Growing/dp/0307336182/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1309975319&sr=8-1

God Bless!

Congratulations, how exciting!! I LOVED my home birth, out of all 3 births it was the easiest and calmest. My first child born 4 weeks early by c-section, my second born full term in the hospital and my third @ home with a midwife. On the day you deliver have people with you that support and honor your decision to have your baby @ home.
